Jacob, Isaac's son, had a unique encounter with God: he wrestled with him! God wanted to wrestle Jacob out of his old nature and transform him. Jacob was able to hold on in the struggle and emerge with a new name! God will wrestle us out of our comfort zone, out of our old nature, to transform us: will we hold on to receive the blessing?
