Sent: The Kingdom Goes Forth

We may lose sight of it sometimes, but Easter reveals a significant change: Jesus rose as the sovereign Lord of heaven and earth! While the "powers" of darkness still exist in the world, Jesus is the one directing history towards the fulfillment of God's kingdom. And with that ultimate authority, he commands his followers to go out and witness to his reign in every corner of the earth. We have been sent and the kingdom is revealed in us: let's go!
