Why Do You Call Me "Lord, Lord' and Do Not Do What I Say?

This message from Luke 6:46–49 looks at the piercing question Jesus asks: “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I say?”
We examine the gap between our words and our actions, the reasons we often disobey, and the fallout that disobedience brings—not only to us, but to those around us. Then we turn to the blessing of obedience: the intentional work of building on the solid foundation of Jesus that leads to flourishing, stability, and protection for ourselves and others.
At the heart of it all, we’re reminded that God is good, His commands are for our good, and obedience is the pathway to a life that will stand when the storms come.
