From Slaves to Sons and Heirs

If the good news found in Jesus is a message of faith in him and his work on our behalf, then it is news of freedom! When humanity rejected God it became enslaved by sin, imprisoned in death, and condemned by the law. But in Jesus Christ, God has set humanity free from slavery to become children and heirs of his glorious kingdom! You are no longer under the power of sin but sons and daughters of the living God, so don't turn back to a life of slavery.
