Sent to Be Witnesses

The work of evangelism - proclaiming the good news of Jesus in the world - is a major part of what it means for Christians to live as "sent ones", but many people don't feel qualified to do it! It is surprising, though, to learn that the early Christians in Acts were just as "unqualified," and they turned the world upside down for Jesus and his kingdom. When we understand what it means to witness to the resurrection of Jesus, and when we know that the Holy Spirit makes us into witnesses even when we don't feel qualified, we can experience the great power and grace that the early church knew.
