A Mission to Light the Way

In Luke's gospel, Jesus held up a lightbulb in his hometown as he announced that he was the expected Messiah and would begin his mission! What was the Messiah's mission? To bring good news to the poor, freedom to the captives & oppressed, and restore sight to the blind... and that's the same mission that he invites us into as we follow him!
