Episode 1: Inheritance

After generations of waiting, Israel finally enters the land God promised—but receiving the promise doesn’t mean the absence of opposition. In Joshua, God calls his people to be strong and courageous, not because the road ahead will be easy, but because he will be with them.

As Israel learns to live in their inheritance, they also discover that God’s presence isn’t permission to recruit him to their side or live however they want. The question isn’t whether God is on our side, but whether we are aligning our lives with him and living under his good rule.

By the end of Joshua, Israel has seen God’s faithfulness firsthand: not one of his promises has failed. And that same faithful God calls us to trust his presence, surrender our idols, align our lives with him, and choose whom we will serve.
